Folding, anti-glare glasses made of celluloid, formerly issued to Alpine troops and associated troops. They were used to prevent the reflection of light projected onto the snow from dazzling soldiers while moving in the mountains.
In excellent condition and complete with their pouch/case.
Interesting fact: glasses similar to these were already part of the equipment of the Alpine troops during the First World War.
