Unteroffizier (NCO) jacket of the East German Army's armored units.
The jacket is in excellent condition, never used, unsold stock. The tailor's label is still sewn onto the back.
Interesting fact: After the end of World War II, the newly formed East German National People's Army, often abbreviated to NVA, adopted uniforms with a cut and style very similar to those worn by the Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe troops during World War II.
Already during the Second World War, the pink colour of the shoulder strap thread identified, in addition to the Armoured Units, the General Officers and the Veterinarians.
