Original Bersagliere fez made of crimson felt with a Savoy blue bow, in very good condition. Judging by its workmanship, it dates back to the Second World War.
Interesting fact: its origins date back to the Crimean War, in 1855. It seems that the Zouaves, special units of the French Expeditionary Force, enthused by the valor of the Bersaglieri following the Battle of Tchernaia, offered their headdress, the fez, as a sign of admiration.
