Wz.50 model helmet in the configuration used by the fire brigade branches of the Polish army and Civil Defense in the 1940s and 1950s, also used by the Soviet army.
Inside it still has the old Wz.31 type padding from the Second World War, as well as the chinstrap (broken on one side but still present) and the leather neck roll.
Interesting fact: this type of helmet is very similar to the one used by the Red Army during the Second World War, while the crest and neck guard are derived from the German firefighter's stahlhelm, used from the 1930s onwards for the entire duration of the Second World War.
