Curiosity: this helmet is an exact copy of the Model 1933 helmet used by the Royal Italian Army during the Second World War and in the post-war period until the 1990s.
At the end of the Second World War, many Italian helmets were reconditioned with the new light green shade by the Soviet army, and were reused again throughout the Cold War until the collapse of the Soviet Bloc.
