Adrian helmet, 1916, reused, Garibaldi Brigade Partisan

This is a model 1916 Adrian helmet of the Royal Italian Army in dark green anti-reflective paint, used in full conflict during the First World War.

The helmet was then likely reused by a partisan during the period 1944-45, painting a red star and the rank of CLN Squad Leader on it.

It may have likely belonged to a partisan of the Garibaldi Brigades.

A rustic and lived-in but untouched piece.
